Look, I'm not here to debate base pays
Or any of the other common stuff you get gripes about
Most of that stuff I believe drivers need to S.T.F.U about
I understand why you do it, it's business
Drivers need to FOCUS on customer service
Tips will go back up, and we're all happy
However, order batching needs some work
And you should have the data to fix it
First, it's busy
We need to group some orders together to get them moving, I get it
But during dinner rush, when you batch a Chipotle, with a Sonic
This is a DISASTER
The average Sonic is not large enough to handle all the business. We routinely wait 20 minutes for an order during dinner rush. What's the point of making the Chipotle customer wait 20 extra minutes and be all pissed off about it.
This is just one example, some merchants don't have their game face on
I'm sure you have tons of delivery time data, go through it, make some adjustments please
Next, you want to offer add on orders OK fine
But could you not offer ones that are going the complete OPPOSITE direction of the one we already accepted. Or how about you don't punish us if we decide to decline the one going in the COMPLETE OPPOSITE direction. Some drivers don't know any better, and just accept every crazy add on the algorithm offers them. Some of them are not even using hot bags, I'm sure you know this. Then delivery number 3 has no idea why it took 60 minutes to get their food, and it's ice cold.
