This is the app start up screen
The black rectangle at the bottom can hold up to 5 sections. At the top left inside the red box is the main menu. All other sections are listed in there. The blue rectangle shows you the current section you are in. the purple box is the search icon. And inside the green square is the refresh / sync button.
Whenever you open up the search icon it will give you an option to filter your view. The filtering system is what allows this app able to hold a ton of information. Yet still allow it to be user friendly while searching. Whether we are talking about entering data, or searching for data. You will consistently be reminded to "set your filters"

Inside that little red box is where you click to open the search filter. When you first open up a map it's going to look like this.
Remember for later
When entering a new map location we always use the icon inside the green box
Never the plus symbol in the black box, It's not malicious
But the plus symbol doesn't add the GPS coordinates which is kind of important
So let's search for an apartment
Let's find 700 Bogue Rd. unit #98
All address numbers and apartment numbers are 5 digits. If you're looking for 98 it's listed as 00098
Since I'm limited to drop down menus to avoid pesky user generated content restrictions. We are not able to include street names at this time, only the address numbers. After a few times using the app it will all flow.
So we're going to set our first filter to the street address of the complex

The map doesn't auto snap to your searched location. So you have to zoom out a little bit and look for the pink dot. You also have to know sort of where complex is in town. Or wait until the blue navigation dot is closer to the complex before doing your unit search.

Open the search box and search for 00098 and it will isolate it down to that specific pin. then you can zoom in to see where the building is. And using the little live blue dot that follows your location, it will guide you right to the building. The zoom is a little weird on some devices. Sometimes it opens up your keyboard each time you zoom, and you have to close your keyboard each time.
The first time you click on the isolated pin it will show you the following info at the bottom of the screen. The unit numbers in that building, and the pins unique ID. e27de088 this unique id will be used later in the process of correcting invalid data entered by a user.
Then clicking on that section where it shows you the unit numbers will open up the full details below. Notes about the complex itself will be listed in the Address - Bldg Numbers - Notes section. Notes about the individual units such as upstairs, or down stairs. Will be listed in the Apt# - Apt Letters - Suite# - Notes section.
