When drivers do these things
Tip them appropriately
And give them their 5 star rating

Now I Will Explain All Of Those
Or you can skip ahead

One Delivery At A Time
The apps will offer 2 or 3 delivery's as a bundle
Or after a driver accepts one delivery, the app will offer another
But this presents a service problem
If the orders are at the same restaurant
They may not even know it's a bundle
So the orders may not be prepared at the same time
Bam, delivery times just went up

If the orders are at different restaurants
The second one is late
Bam, delivery times just went up

If you accept a second order
The app doesn't make time adjustments
Bam, your super late on one of your orders
Because the second restaurant was late
Or it offered one going the OPPOSITE direction of the first one
Crazy

Some drivers multi app
One version is OK
Another can be toxic

OK
You contract for dash and uber
Have both running, accept the first order that pops to your liking
Then close the other app
Go handle business

The toxic way
Your engaged in an uber order
But you then accept a dash order
And mix it in

This happens a lot in the major metropolitan areas
The apps do what they can to stem it
But it's tough

But still far too many newbies don't use them
And it makes a huge difference
Especially on those long 20 minute deliveries

We're contractors, we can improve our equipment how we see fit
Electrics are easy to make with a little creativity

If we see some Karen type delivery instructions

These instructions are actually what guides us
Not the delivery app
Their not even a delivery app
"marketplace connection"
Read your customer agreement

Many customers leave the delivery instructions blank
Big mistake

Many bags are sealed up still due to lingering Covid protocols
How are we supposed to check?
If we break the seal it's big trouble

Now if the bag is obviously wrong
You don't leave that restaurant until they break the seal and check

We CAN'T check if the order is prepared correctly
It's just NOT possible

So don't ask us to make sure
"it's medium rare"
"it's Vegan style"

And so on

Personally if I see that after I accept an order
It's an instant unassign
Because the restaurant will get it wrong guaranteed
And then you're going to 1 star me for it
Not happening
Ratings play too big a part in our earnings
And ability to have wide open scheduling
We can't risk a 1 star for stuff that ain't our fault

It covers apartment complex unit numbers
And business parks
Google's not very good with those two situations
